(53,412 posts)8. I'm in New Jersey and I'm uncertain that WE can elect a female GOVERNOR.
Barbara Buono tried against Chris Christie. While she was the better candidate, she didn't win. We now have Mikie Sherrill. Stellar work in Congress. I wish, but I don't expect.
Go to Kentucky. Amy McGrath tried to oust Mitch McConnell. Her credentials were impeccable. She didn't win.
Until you can get more than 50% of registered voters to vote, elections will be like Nielsen ratings.

this shows registrations not who actually showed up ... I always think that is the bigger issue no shows
