We have had two female Democratic candidates nominated. Hilary Clinton ran after a two-term Democratic President, which means she was trying to achieve a third term for Democrats. Kamala Harris ran after the first-term Democratic President dropped out, leaving little time for a campaign.
If we have an election in 2028 it will be coming after two terms of Trump, with a nation desperate for change. That could be the best time for a woman to run for president. I hope Kamala Harris, AOC and Jasmine Crockett all run, and two of them form a ticket for the race.
